You will offer exemplary skills throughout the business development process, from your unique ability to identify new opportunities, right through to maintaining account relationships. You can proactively open doors with key clients. The successful candidate will be able to identify organizations and develop tailored approaches to business development.
Building on that platform, you will be expected to build strong relationships with prospects, ensuring that Cyan Solutions is their best option for their marketing requirements. Ideally, you have a strong knowledge of web/online business solutions, a background in creative services and marketing, plus a track record within a dynamic growing company.
Responsibilities
- Identifying key targets
- Research target clients and prepare call process
- Executing business development strategies
- Maintain ongoing contact with existing client base to develop further business from these clients
- Managing regular lead-generation programs
- Reactive lead follow up - helping to qualify leads
- Building new business leads through to close
- Maintain networking opportunities within the Ottawa community
Candidate Profile
- Understands the lead generation and qualification processes
- Can build and maintain a sales funnel
- Experienced in effective sales presentations to key executives
- Experienced in new business for direct or digital agencies
- Skilled at consultative selling
- Able to demonstrate a progressive track record of building business with corporate clients
- Great communicator
- Confident, tenacious and passionate
