Is your organization eligible?

To qualify for a Google for Nonprofits account, you must be a recognized nonprofit charitable organization in a good standing position and meet the full eligibility requirements in your country. Your organization may not be a governmental entity, hospital or healthcare organization, or school, academic institution, or university (however, philanthropic arms of educational organizations are eligible).

To be eligible for a Google for Nonprofits account, your Canadian nonprofit organization must be registered with the CRA – Canada Revenue Agency, as a:

  • federal charity
  • federal nonprofit organization
  • provincial nonprofit organization

Organizations must be: (1) charities; (2) tax exempt nonprofit organizations operating on a nonprofit basis for the public benefit; (3) federal not-for-profit corporations; or (4) provincial nonprofits.

Organizations must also be currently registered with TechSoup Canada, TechSoup Global’s regional arm.
